Overview & Rough Itinerary
25 - 29 May 2017
Whilst many bikers head to the Alps for mountain road fun, there are plenty to explore much closer to home!
Our tour sets off from London and makes a speedy dash out of the city along the motorway until Gloucester at which point the trip really begins. Heading south through the Wye Valley, we then make our way into the Brecon Beacons where we will be based for the next two nights.
Days 2 & 3 are spent exploring South Wales, as well as venturing up along the West Coast. We will ride the fantastic Black Mountain Pass as well as the Gospel Pass, and catch the most glorious sunset at Elan Valley.
We then venture North, heading into Snowdonia where you will be blown away by the sheer beauty of your surroundings, although you must keep focus here as the local sheep seem to have suicidal tendancies - eyes on the road ahead at all times please!
No trip to Snowdonia would be complete without a visit to Portmerion, a beautiful village just a short distance from Porthmadog. It was designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis in the style of an Italian village and on a good sunny day you could easily be fooled!
We ride some of the most fantastic roads though both the Brecon Beacons and Snowdonia, where the scenery and views will take your breath away.
This beautiful place was designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis in the style of an Italian village, and on a good sunny day, you could easily be fooled! Portmerion is also famous for being "The Village" in the spy drama, The Prisoner

The Important Stuff
Breakdowns are a sad fact of motorcycle touring and often we can get bikes back up and running between us, but due to the level of mileage and nature of this tour, it is a requirement that you hold suitable Breakdown Cover so that you can be prompty recovered where required. This is for your benefit, as much as it is for everyone elses.
This tour is slightly lighter on mileage than some of our others, but 800 miles over 5 days is still more than some people ride in a summer. Accordingly, we suggest that you ensure you are well prepared for this kind of mileage beforehand.
