Overview & Rough Itinerary
Just as the nights start drawing in and the days get a touch chillier, join us as we head over to the beautiful island of Corsica for some late summer fun in the sun.
Our tour starts in Folkestone where we catch an early train to Calais. From there, we make our way across France towards the Champagne-Ardennes region where we will spend the evening getting to know each other over a glass or two of local wine.
Day 2 starts with a hearty breakfast, after which we set off south easterly, towards Bourg in the Rhone-Alps region. Our route takes us through the Jura Mountains as well as brief ride through Switzerland for good measure.
We continue our journey south on day 3, riding along the Route des Grandes Alpes towards Nice where we catch the overnight ferry crossing to Corsica, our home for the the next three days. During our time on the Island, we will have organised rideouts that you can join us on, or, of course, you can use the time to relax in the sun or break off and explore by yourself.
We say goodbye to this beautiful Island on day 7, catching the ferry back to mainland France where we will spend the next few days taking leisurely rides back up through the Champagne region and into Calais where we can compare those motorcyclist back-of-neck suntans before saying goodbye to each other.

The Important Stuff
Breakdowns are a sad fact of motorcycle touring and often we can get bikes back up and running between us, but due to the level of mileage and nature of this tour, it is a requirement that you hold European Breakdown Cover so that you can be prompty recovered where required. This is for your benefit, as much as it is for everyone elses.
Travel Insurance inc. Motorcycling
Again, due to the nature of this tour, it is a requirement that you hold suitable travel insurance which covers you for motorcycle riding on the appropriate sized bike.
Stating the obvious here, but riding 1,700 miles over 10 days is hard work and something you may need to prepare for. We will provide tips in our pre-tour pack!
